Each brailler we receive undergoes a thorough Perkins certified level 3 cleaning and inspection. All parts are removed, cleaned and inspected. Any broken or missing parts are replaced with new authentic Perkins parts. Once your brailler is cleaned and reassembled an alignment is performed to factory specifications as well as customer preference.

All work is guaranteed for 2 weeks after your machine is returned.

$150 for cleaning and inspection. Standard replacement parts are included. If you have a large number of braille writers, please contact us for additional information and pricing.

Please ship your braille writers through the USPS service Free Matter for the Blind. Address for shipping can be found in contact information. Be sure to label your box Free Matter for the Blind. It can take 7-14 days to arrive at our shop. We will return your braille writer through the same shipping method. Tracking can be provided upon request.

Once we receive your machine(s) it will be shipped back to you within 2 weeks. Repair time is heavily dependent on the number of machines and the severity of repairs. Typically single braille writers are return shipped within 7 days.
